2012 Timetables
Homework is a vital aspect of your daughter’s education. The homework timetable is aimed to spread your daughter’s work over the two week timetable. However, homework may sometimes be set outside the timetable.
In Years 7 - 9 she should receive 2 English, Maths and Science home works per 2 week cycle and 1 foundation subject. Therefore she should be studying for approximately 1 hour per night. In Year 10 and 11 she should receive 4 English, Maths and Science home works per cycle, 2 option subjects, and and 1 PSHCE homework per cycle. Therefore she should be studying for approximately 2 hours per night.
The College offers lunchtime and after school clubs with support to help your daughter should she need it. Please ensure your daughter has a quiet place to study and check her planner weekly before signing it.
