School Collaboration with Old Vic Theatre
Published on 11 November 2011
Year 9 students began their year long collaboration with the Old Vic Theatre this week. This consisted of a 2 hour practical workshop exploring the characters and themes of the play 'The Playboy of the Western World', followed by a visit to the theatre to see the play on stage with some students getting front row seats for the performance.
All of the students involved had a fantastic time and got to meet Robert Sheehan, from the TV show Misfits, who had the lead role in the play. Several members of the public who were at the theatre at the same time also commented on how the students were a credit to the school with their excellent behaviour.
