MyBnk Challenge

Mount Carmel's MyBnk provides an accessible place to save regularly and interest free loans to set up enterprises. It’s the first ever FSA approved independent online and in-school banking scheme. Run throughout the year, the bank embeds finance and enterprise learning, with structured incentivised Savings and Loans Challenges.
The bank is run by trained MyBnkers (students) with support from our staff and Mentors (teachers). Open Days take place weekly and we facilitate MyBnker Team Meetings. MyBnkers track all accounts online and customers can log in to check their balance and set saving goals.
Our MyBnk branch is currently one of the longest functioning branch in the borough and has 112 savers, who have managed to save a total of £628.56.
To reward our dedicated customers, a series of savings challenges have been held. The final of which is the Savings Challenge for a chance to win an Ipod Shuffle.
