Mount Carmel Retreat 2012

The title of the Year 10 Retreat was "Step up to a bold adventure". As Year 10 students, the girls at Mount Carmel have in many ways entered a new phase of life. Preparing for GCSEs, often needing to take on more responsibilities, new peer presssures and perhaps looking to make decisions that will affect the way they live their lives. This can also be a time to really step up and make difference in the world around them.
The theme for the Year 7 Retreat was Friendship and community. During the day the pupils worked in groups looking at these two issues. The activities were tile painting , meditation and drama based on the Parable of the Good Samaritan.
